Cyrtostachys renda-Sealing Wax Palm

Does anyone have any thought of getting one or already have one of these palms for the conservatory?

Tried these a couple of years ago, only had one germinate from 20 odd seeds. Came up green as is the way with seedlings. Didn't react well to my indoor conditions as in reduced light, central heating etc and promptly carked it :(
nice looking palm in the pictures though, isn't it

I seen a lot of these when i was in Belize, growing in swamps.

Will, i would be using soil warming cables and a 50w LED grow light close up above the plant for this one. They stop growing and die in cool temperatures.

I think you would need more than a conservatory to grow one, a heated, humid greenhouse is what you want...
