Slower/faster than fortunei Red?

Mind you I have new opened spears on my big fortunei but rain is spoiling the tips though.

Naini tal on the left, fortunei on the right. Both germinated in may last year (2011) so only 2 or 3 weeks difference in age.....

The rain wont spoil them Kata, drought, over feeding, and hard frost causes yellow tips :wink:

Big difference there Jez :mrgreen:

Dave on feeding its Nigel's Germany food which is a rusty red...twice a year...followed Instructions.

There is totally no cover in this garden when the sun shines. thought maybe it got burnt.

We have had so much rain it can't be drought.

It was its first winter last year in my garden which was mild.
