Google Earth co-ordinates - big palm spotter

Bit of fun...
This is one that I've seen, 3ft taller than this now, it must be an old pic, anyway get your co-ordinates in here if you know of any big palms - or don't lol

I thought you might like to see a huge collection of palms. Cheating I know as the intent was UK palms I believe of this thread.

Anyways just over the river from me is a place called "The Palmetum" - https://maps.google.com.au/?ll=-19.3112 ... 3,,0,-6.08

It has a huge collection of palms, most of impressive size.

Unfortunately the ones under the canopy of the bigger trees in the Palmetum cannot be seen through satelite images.

Welcome tsvjus and yes the Townsville Arboretum is quite amazing and has an incredible collection of palms. I couldnt get in when I last lived in Townsville in 2011 due to the damage from Cyclone Yasi so Im keen to spend a day or two wandering around when Im next over that way.
