Are these Palms?

These are very unsual. Walk past these lots of times but only yesterday managed to get a pic of them (without being seen :roll: )

Are they palm?
Whats the name?

They all look the same, Echiums...

...unless the Echiums are planted behind whatever.

I hate it when I have to pass without taking a pic. I usually only do a pic if blinds or curtains are closed . Actually they should be happy we like their garden enough to take a pic at all pad..

Yes they are Echiums. :wink:

It shows how mild it is where you are as they would all be killed without protection here, so tend to be planted as individual plants.

The best way to grow them IMO. Let them self seed and form a colony. They look like a dense oasis of miniature palms from a distance and when they flower together the results are spectacular.
