That really is some Impressive growth rate considering the terrible Weather we`ve had over the past 3 or 4 years. Mine ( although a lot younger and smaller) is doing great despite the very poor conditions we`ve had lately and the total lack of sunlight it`s received.It`s pushed out 2 new huge fronds so far this year and is just starting to open it`s 3rd. It shows just how fast these Palms grow and what can be achieved by using some rope lights and a simple rain cover. I`m becoming more and more amazed by the hardiness of these Palms as time goes on.

Funny, I was always very philosophical about losing it at some point in a bad winter, but the bigger it gets, the more of an Icon for me, and others, so the more imperative it's saving becomes :lol:
