Best not to put them out (or rather best to bring them in) if there is frost, as the new growth is sensitive to cold

thankyou. I have them in my laundry room.. will not put them out until the frosts ends

They will be happier being outside (better light, and air), just not on cold nights

A word of caution with chicken pellets ,I lost three fair sized gunnera for no apparent reason,the only common factor was chicken pellets that I used to use.This is just my own experience ,something to bear in mind,the plants were not small ,all over 10 years old.
