Palmbooster application.

Post by karl66 »

When some of you apply palmbooster, do you add it to the watering can or add water to the booster?, i've been adding the water to the palmbooster measure. karl.

I fill up a 2ltr bottle with water, put a tablespoon of booster in it, shake it about then use half the bottle per palm. I wish it coloured the water like miracle grow does because it always seems like im not using enough.

I may not be the brightest spark but i really cant see what difference it makes adding it to a watering can, before or after the water is added? icon_scratch .

i suppose you cant accidently add too much water if you put it in after but it isnt going to make any difference so long as you stir it well if you add it after

Why did you/what made you ask the question ? Was there a reason ?

It seems to mix well with water so either way doesn't matter.

Ade, the reason i asked is because i have been useing nigels blue soluable fertiliser & i asked him the question as to whether you could mix palmbooster/blue fertiliser together to save time. The answer was yes as long as its put in the water afterwards., i'd been previously adding water onto a measured dose of palmbooster. karl.

That's more to do with the blue powder rather than the palm booster. That is the powder needs to be mixed well so you add the water after as this helps dissolve it.
