Cracking garden pics! I like the different foliage and the cactus dahlia! Well done! That's a pretty interesting fence too! I erect fences for a living and I have not seen anything like it!!!

Hi, I thought i would show you what we have been upto this week icon_cheers

Troppoz wrote a blog about photoshop idea's for all you clever photoshopper's to design areas of our gardens we weren't happy about or needed inspiration for..

I put this pic up.. Ive been wanting to do something with it for a long time. Its between the greenhouse and the shed, It gets about 6/7 hours a day sunshine in summer, when it shines, that is :D

Image

And this is the photoshopped version which Delboy put up  Isn't it amazing icon_thumleft So last week i got stuck into the ivy on the back fence, what a Tw** it was, I used a coping saw on the thick branches  its all i could find at the time lol..

Image

So Saturday morning we got buzy..Hired one of these..

Image

And got stuck in..

Pics from yesterday after i painted the posts.. icon_cheers

Ive been back out this morning, cutting more of the Ivy back..

what a mess. it will grow back but its not as thick now.. :D

Image

still have to get rid of it ...

Image

I have a lovely new border to play with after digging out a huge Cotoneaster icon_thumleft

Image

Im going to plant a Grapevine, A himrod seedless, suggested by Mr List icon_thumleft it seems ideal for up here, so thankyou Mr List..
If anyone can recommend a site for the grape it would be appreciated :D

Im also going to grow a Clematis, Sieboldiana, reminds me of a Passionflower..

Image

Still loads to do which im really excited about  Thanks for looking..

Wow Deedee you made it happen, it looks lovely, Delboy gave you the idea and the finished thing looks great.
Can't wait to see it hanging with the grape vine etc, you will be pleased to know I have organised for us to have an incredibly long and hot summer up here in Newcastle, so will be able to enjoy your pergola and the rest of your lovely garden all summer :D
