Hi Pdid!
Love the Portmerion pics! thanks! we did a 'long haul' day trip, a few years back - quite a run from Bristol but well worth it as the drive across Snowdonia was unforgettable. I came home and wanted to paint our garden ice cream colours!

July update, everything is growing and filling out nicely. Everything has been planted out since the last post.

Thanks Ken, the 1st is Cyathea medullaris and the 2nd is Catalpa bignoides (sp).

Brilliant job...I especially like the wavy edge to the lawn and I am going to give that a try with mine, as I have officially run out of space!
Do you move the kids frame?....we have a ten foot trampoline and its a real trouble having to move it all the time to try and prevent it from killing the grass underneath the supports.

You have already got yourself an enviable collection of plants there Phil, but if you don't mind me making a suggestion, this area would look great filled with a nice bamboo....
