Re: Arlons Blog: Palm bargains
wish our stores over here had palms and fatsia on discount..all they ever sell off cheap are those horrible majesty palms that die in a week. I did get a trio star today for discount but other than that nothing worth bringing home.

Re: Arlons Blog: Fascicularia bicolor feature
After reading Mr Lists posts on his fescicularia, it gave me an idea for a "mobile" feature using some of my fescicularia bicolor and an old branching tree stump i cut down a while back. It could be moved around the garden to fill a gap and moved to the greenhouse for overwintering etc. It only took an hour , so nothing lost if it doesn't work out.

Re: Arlons Blog: Fascicularia bicolor feature

i'd get some spaghum moss to cover the netting and make it look more wild/natural.
i got some the other day in the range,it was 25% off.

Re: Arlons Blog: Fascicularia bicolor feature
Thanks all, by the way .......... it was an enjoyable hour spent.
Crackin' idea. The net was only temporary until the plants took hold / spread but i'll add some of that anyway to hide the net and leave it there after the net's been removedMr List wrote:.
