Nice spot. I've seen quite a few on the wing over the last couple of weeks. Flying late this year.

I saw a male brimstone butterfly today in Carnation road Southampton.

If they have managed to put up with me for the last 3 years then the forum can handle anything.

But for now back on track I saw a tattered looking red admiral today flying around by my side entrance but it was a chilly feeling day so I suppose it was looking for somewhere to hibernate.

No Butterflies in Morecambe today.

Red admirals usely migrate to Southern Europe. I saw them about a week ago in Italy. And a kind of netles grows there at the moment. So that must be the nettle for laying there eggs on.
