well well after such a prolonged mild period, it looks like the first air frost is due here tonight, first one for a fairly long time!

Air frost just about avoided, but still a ground frost.. interestingly no hoar frost, but the temperatures fell rather sharply during the early hours, so not enough time to build a layer of frost.

Increasing wind speeds here at the moment, stormy weather should be on his strongest this night and tomorrow morning. The temperature make it all a bit brighter as it getting milder every hour, 12C now.

This stormy weather reminds me to the milder winters where frost was not a issue at all here but wind damage.
