Almost 23C yesterday and 15.3C last night. At the moment cloudy but the sun is trying to get trough, temperature almost up to 20C. The east is 22-23C at the moment but no clouds, forecast for there 25C again. Otherwise they forecast big thunderstorms for that area later this afternoon. Just like yesterday when on some places felt between the 30-50 mm of rain in only a few hours.

Nothing of that amount of rain here.

Hasn't rained for a week now Dave (or just under), ground is once again like a dustbowl

I dug down and even a foot down it's bone dry!

Surely there must be some heavy rain due soon.. I live in the west.

Dave your ground will dry out so fast I reckon so lets hope your plants make the best of the moistened soil.

High of 18.9C and 55% humidity the driest.

The pressure is dropping and forecast has low pressure systems for the next 14 days.
(Edit : Netweather revised their summer forecast too ....downwards unfortunately)

Chance yet for rain Stephen
