Basically if the last three months finish above average, we could have 2011 as the warmest year on record.. largely thanks to a way above average February and April.

Warmest year on record preceeded by one of the coldest on record. 
Sounds like a continental climate.
As for a "very cold winter forecast for 2011 - 2012 ... who's to know for sure. Wait 6 months and comment then.
