They wont drop below 10C before midnight, I've checked out the METARS, TAFS everything, and I'm confident I can do it now.

My lowest temperature last night was 10.2C, it is currently 12C.. it is not forecast to drop until the early hours.

Rainfall is preliminary, but everything else stands.

I've been much colder than you Stephen in December. This raises a question of probe placement. I have my sensor n the coldest part of the garden that doesn't warm up much in the day time. So is this the best place?

Mean Overall: 7.2C

Highest daytime temperature in December: 13.0C (3th)
Lowest daytime temperature in December: 5.8C (19th)

Highest night-time temperature in December: 11.1C (31th)
Lowest night-time temperature in December: 1.4C (19th)

Rainfall: 163mm (Almost 2,5 time my average//wettest december since I'm recording)
Rainfall Days: 24
Snowfall Days: 0
Air frost: 0

Stephen,

Does the UK got his 81-10 averages already? Quite curious because I still see you using the old averages. Here they use the new ones already since last March.

Yers 80-10 is available but is not utilised by the Met-office yet.. I'm not comfortable with take this yet, but will gradually start to use it.

If it's open for public please let me know, I'm quite curious how the averages around the UK would be.

If I know the met office, I'd bet it's available, for a purely nominal access fee of £80,000 per data item

Most of my nearby weather stations seem to have been closed or moved, so I'm not sure there will be any 81-10 relevant data to be had.
Best regards

Medium term 30-year average from 1980 (properly 1981, as Robbin originally said) to 2010
