Don't know how to calculate a ground frost from weather station figures, as lots of factors involved.

Not possible unless you have a ground temperature thermometer (at 5cm). I use an old weather station unit sitting on the grass to get mine. A simple cheap data logger would do it also, and if you're willing to manually take readings, a max in thermo approx. 5cm high would do it too.

Here are some of mine.

All the way. Spring was the best period of the year, very dry and sunny. Summer was quite bad, too much rain and specially to much clouds. Autemm was quite good and December very very wet. If December was not that wet I had one of the driest years here. Another "problem" is the heavy thunderstorms during the summer that bring loads of rainfall during a short time. The ground take nothing of that because the drought earlier. However for the garden 2011 was a great, very great year.
