Despite what epople say about Mallorca being warm, Palm de Mallorca does fall to 0C every winter, it's actually commonplace in terms of once or twice every winter. It doesn't happen very often in a winter though so, they don't really have many problems.

It was a holiday in Dec 1970 to Palma de Mallorca that made me decide we could grow Palm trees in England. There was a frost every night. :ahhh!: I also had ground frost on the Costa Brava in December 1975.
