Hurricanes and cyclones are usely more found towards the subtropics. Places like Singapore or Rio de Janeiro never get them. And places where they have always nice weather you never hear of. What do you hear about bad weather on Madeira for example. Nothing.

The plastic cover had been destroyed. It was a small polytunnel made by myself from pvc pipes and plastic. But it did the job well, it was hot and humid in there. So good for the plants.
