newbie here from Northampton
Hello all,
Directed here by a google search on yuccas - Which took me to the 'cordylines' thread?..lol
Anyhow, I believe, I have two yuccas? (and by the by, the harsh winter, like the op in the thread, done for one of the five cordylines I posses) Part of my job is re-cycling green waste & all of my collection, have been rescued from the shredder!
One of the 'yuccas' has developed a bud this year (planted four years ago) so I believe I'm in for a fine display in the coming month/s?
I have photo's & would appreciate any of you old salts, take a look & identify said species?
Should I post pics here or start a new thread?
Thanks in advance,
Doug

Thank you for the 'welcome' kata - Seems the pic is too large in mb's to display, can you point me in the right direction?
Re: newbie here from Northampton
How big is it Kewel?
They post some pretty big images here hard to get it wrong with size.
Mine I try to keep to 800x600 like the one below which will be 175KB

Hi AirKewl, and welcome
You must be the ultimate 'Exotic Plant Rescue' We tend to hang onto plants until there is no hope but I have seen almost unmarked exotics going in the green waste at the recycling centre.
I guess google has made an assumption that Cordyline and Yucca are similar, as I don't know of any referrences to yucca in the Cordyline webpage
We have a restriction on pic size as even point an shoot cameras are now aimed at print quality 8 x 6 in photos. These just make viewing the image difficult as are about 4 screens wide. The best image size will be 800 x 600 pixels, as big enough to see and small enough, size wise, not to fill up the hosting space.

Thanks for the warm welcome & advice - I'll get to work reducing that pic size & post it up?

Aha! pennies just dropped grub? - I belonged to a pc overclocking forum in the day & 'AirKewl' was my handle there...I figured most plants are cooled by air, so.....grub wrote:Welcome aboard AirKewl, I take it you're a 'Dubber' then
Never been near a camper van since the lads & I hired one in the early seventies - The original 'sun run' down to Devon & Cornwall, where a good time was had by all
