It is the stump that was created by felling a big beech tree (same day as the Wisley meet). A man came from here and wielded his equipment over several days. Nice chap seems to have the right philosophy on life.

Nice one Don, but is the stump dead? Just lopping the top is coppicing  Will be a conversation piece though

I love it Don, like i said cool  I like garden sculptures anyway, I made a few a couple of years ago from thermalite blocks, I really need to get the other ones I had planned to do but got sidetracked carcing some for friends and family so got bored with them, but as I said that was a couple of years ago so no excuses now Pic of a tiki god I carved Gary
