old....it always flush's from the centre.

And yes,it will need to open up in the center to flush again.

That's a very healthy looking one Cordy. Another thing to look out for before a flush is that the leaves become a bit more lax and start turning yellow, drawing all the nutrients out of the old leaves and into the new ones.

Lived in Texas for 5 years. They are everywhere and they will flush 2 or 3 times a year so they grow much quicker than over here, you can pick up a rugbyball sized caudex plant for about $40.Dave Brown wrote:
