You can see the missus on him  He's a Welsh Section D crossed with a heavy draft Cob so would make a great driving horse if I could get a cheap cart icon_thumright Very hardy as far as horses go, doesnt wear shoes very strong feet, can live out 24/7 in the coldest of weather without a rug and can live off minimal grass as metabolic system evolved to graze off the sparse welsh mountainsides.

My uncle ray years and years ago use to have 7 horses on his land until he sadly passed away to leukemia and i have loved horses ever since he had them. They are truly stunning and can always remember my older sister having horse riding lessons!
Went to a horse auction on Wednesday and the value in the last two years has dropped drastically. Horses were selling for £20-£60! only a few which were very well ridden and of good bloodline went for £700-£800.

Heartbreaking seeing the £20 ones go through.

stunning horse Cordy, a real beauty you have there mate. :) Do you think the £20 - £60 ones were ones that had been repossessed by banks or something when the owners can't afford the mortgages now more due to the recession? just a guess i could be a long way off.
