Palm identity

Palm identity

Found this pic online; claims it is Trachycarpus martianus, but I have my doubts.

Anyone know what it might be?

Funny enough i have just seen a large palm labelled martianus in a botanical garden t.his morning. It clearly isn't.

I suspect it's Livistona chinensis, Quote from t'internet "Binomial name, Livistona chinensis.
(Jacquin) R. Brown ex Martius in C. F. P. von Martius et al."

Either a Livistona or a Washingtonia, definitely not Trachycarpus martianus though...

look like a pair of stretched chammies to me when zoomed in

I thought we were meant to be ID-ing the tall palms? I didn't even notice the Chamaerops :lol:

Yep, it's the tall ones (and no, not those two Phoenix behind either, before anyone says!)
