I have a Dicksonia antarctica in a pot that will be going in the garage as the stie I want to place it will not ready till next year.
Should I put it in the garage all winter (or only if temps get silly) and if so will it require any prtection ? and would it need much water ?
Thanks in advance.

It would be ok all winter in the garage.
It may even keep its leaves. Just remember to keep the compost moist.

Hello
will do the same with mine but will have to put it outside when I go away later this winter for 2 weeks as it will not get any water for 2 weeks. I am hoping to bring mine in my garage start of Nov time. And when I have to put it outside again, put it in a corner next to a wall and put loads of straw in the crown and fleece it for the 2 weeks. Hope the weather will keep it damp during my 2 week hols.
Cheers

Yes these too but as the air Will probably be damp and cold it won't need lots of watering.
