Yes, all curled up ready to unfurl in spring. Can't wait! Unsure if I'll need to lop off the old fronds or not :-/

Love the end-pieces at the back of the garden, the trio of containerised Phormiums picked out by the dark background of the hedge.
Thank you. Love my lechuza pots. Bloody expensive but worth it for the quality and the overall look. The phormium cream delights work perfectly there!

If they stay green then I would leave them on.

Maurelli are easy to come by so don't worry about preferential suppliers, buy the cheapest.

Thanks. As always I'll be wanting the biggest plant I can get for the least amount of money!

Welcome to the forum my fellow Yorkshireman! Love the garden and especially the gunnera. Your cordylines look really healthy too. :D

Ah a "south" Yorkshireman! :-)

The gunnera was a free plant given to me by a work colleague that had split his own plant last spring. Was trial and error when planting but it thrived last year and even produced 2 huge flower spikes!

The cordylines get a good compost mulch in spring and fed regularly through the growing season. Oh and of course, wrapped up for winter. For some reason despite being planted at the same time one is larger than the other. Hopefully it'll catch up!!

Early in the year before the gunnera got huge!!

Welcome LEE...Not a bad part of the world to live in! :)

I guess you've checked out all the exotic plants locally? Tropical world, Harewood and the jungle garden near Roundhay?

I've been to tropical world many times but sadly not for a long time. Is there another garden near roundhay then? As for harewood, that's now on my list of places to visit once the weather picks up!!
