Massive storm forecast for north Devon coast Saturday, with exceptionally high and low tides.

Had 610mm to date for the month, significantly above our average of 424mm for January with rain recorded on all but 7 days, with rain every day for the last 22 days straight. Heaviest rainfall was 126mm in 24 hours, actually that was within just 2 hours in the middle of the night and resulted in localised flooding.

Temps are spot on average for the month with a max of 31.8c and a min of 24.9c. Hottest day was 36.1c, coolest was 28.0c (not including today which should break that).

4/5c here, the rain is horizontal, difficult to keep your eyes open when you're out in it! Just going to tidy the greenhouse, I think I'll put the paraffin heater on to keep ME warm , that'll be the first time this winter!
