First one looks like a Furcraea although it could be one of the variegated Yucca and the second looks like Yucca possible flaccida

The second looks like Yucca attenuata to me .

Yes! I am not sure what made my brain say flaccida! the banks around the airport on Madeira are covered with it, never had any luck with the seed though

I came home from a holiday in Spain with a few Attenuata pups which I... cough cough.. found lying around the hotel...cough cough...
All now rooting nicely :D
