Re: In Memoriam....Tog Tan
OMG that is terrible news. Such a shame. His posts will certainly be missed. He gave a us a very good insight into how some of the more genuinely tropical plants we grow can perform in more favourable conditions and I think, filled quite a few knowledge gaps on subjects like bananas, gingers and aroids.
Re: In Memoriam....Tog Tan
sure he will be missed very sad news....goes to show life very short!!
Re: In Memoriam....Tog Tan
That is very sad news, I saw one or two of his posts on here, and he had a great knowledge and experience of what he grew and other tropicals.
He will be missed I'm sure

Re: In Memoriam....Tog Tan
That is sad news. Particularly, when he seemed so full of life, but at least he died doing what he loved most... collecting Bananas.
Although I did not know him pesonally, his passion, personality and knowledge shines through in his posts on here and Bananas.org. He will be sadly missed around the world.
Rest in peace Tog

Re: In Memoriam....Tog Tan
Adding to what I said earlier..... the even more sobering thought to me, is he was two weeks younger than me The guy seemed so energetic compared to me. Life is cruel
Best regards

My sentiments exactly Dave, how someone so enthusiastic, and energetic about his passions and life in general can be taken so cruelly is something very sobering.
It does make you look at life in a different way, I'm sure Tog Tan did the right thing, he fulfilled his life and he was happy, and we can only try to follow in his footsteps in terms of living life to the full every day.
Life is so fragile.

Very sad news. I hope there's someone in his family that can plant something fitting in his memorium.
