Hi Mo , ive left mine out every year , been growing it for over 10 years its a fab fern. never had any problems so should be ok for you .

not sure about tabular and nudum , cause i got mine at the akamba meet in April.

Thanks. Guess thats answered that. Going to Mulch under it before winter and see how it does.

Hadge, I got all three from Akamba this year so I am in the same boat. Lets see how we get along :)

Mo you were telling me to buy some more ferns lol , i think from what ive heard tabular could be borderline for me , time will tell :wink:

I'm trying some Blechnum minus from Tasmania, but they're only very small yet (about 8 months old from spores) in a pot indoors. Anyone else tried this?

so thats the ufo lol, u had lost me on that . it looks like a clock but gives temperature readings , it was a few weeks back when it went over 20C :lol:

it looks like its floating. It does not look like its attached to anything. Its a weird angle I guess

It's a thermometer . . . but why it needs to be calibrated down to -50°C in a garden with bananas . . . well, let's hope it never gets tested to its limits! :ahhh!:

Don't let my ramblings put you off getting Ferns Hadge, Not everyone who has ferns is a bit cuckoo
