Noticed a bunch of rubbish under a tree by the side of the road which on closer inspection revealed a bower birds bower decorated with broken glass, aluminium foil, red plastic and even what looked like red lacy knickers
Didnt spot the creator though but I hear them constantly, they are superb mimics and perfectly replicate the sounds of cat fights, lawn mowers, traffic sounds. Its so uncanny, the only way you can tell if a sound is a mower or a bower bird is if its coming from a tree!

Re: Bower birds
So do these Bower Birds go around collecting up all the rubbish from the road side, or do they nick it like Jackdaws do here.
Must sound really weird... a lawn mower in a tree
