Hi, they look well established plants from the pics, I've grown many over the years and they can be hit and miss. I've also had some go downhill when the water table has been high in my old garden for month's on end. I used to cut remaining stumps back to solid wood then new growth should appear.......

Hope all goes well Dave, it's horrible having dust and disruption in your home...we have it here at present. Our high performance sbs felt systems are far superior to any DIY fibre glass roof membranes but for a domestic property you should be ok...make sure you get the relevant paperwork for guaran...

Good luck Dave, we have building work disruption here and it's not nice having your home upside down!. Lots of different felt spec's around but the best sbs systems we use are far superior to any fibreglass products.. ...just make sure you get relevant paperwork to back up there claims.

I can understand the joist upgrade 6x2 sounds about right looking at the spans. You can sometimes reduce joist depth by using a steel frame. Is it your choice to use fiberglass as a covering?, this time of year is not ideal as the substrate has to be almost moisture free to be 100% successful. As an...
