I'm not going to leave mine out,but plants always bulk up quicker for me when they're planted out. So I'll lift in the autumn and overwinter in the greenhouse as usual.

Doesn't work for me Dave. Still can't add a file. The choose file box isn't active on my iPhone. I've a similar problem on the other forums. Hence my lack of activity on them I know it's easy enough to upload to my laptop then post,but I can never find the time to do it. Facebook apps makes life muc...

I've got a griersonii,not seedling,but establishe plant.
Got it from Kev 52st state a couple I years ago when he was selling musas on eBay. Kevin scales is the only other person I know that's growing one.
I can put a pic on Facebook in a little while,but can't upload to here from my phone

Mines been planted since late may. Looks to be sizing up just fine. Faster than the little pink chinas I planted out around the same time. Top ones definitely accuminata. Sold as maccrorhizos from jungleseeds a few years back. I only managed to get mine Id'd last year on planetaroid on Facebook. Are the stems stripey?
If it is could be youve got a black marble. A sport of burgundy stem.
Much like mojito,but reversed. So mainly black with green variegation as opposed to mojitos green with black :D
Or it's just a black magic sport :lol:

The ones I planted out have put on some serious growth, easily as much as the 'Montbeliardii' pup that wasplanted out at the same time

I broke my long established basjoo clump up in early spring this year as it was hugely congested and starting to take over the world :lol: I kept 2 of the larger corm in situ and replanted the rest in various parts of the garden some of which are very shaded and don't see any sun in the winter month...
