Re: further decline in global temperatures.

water vipour For God's snake, I hopethat is a spelling mistake. I couldn't take a waffling conspiracy theory about bloody snakes building up in the stratosphere although it would be no less ridiculous than this one. Why we put up with this perpetual troll activity is beyond me, none of these thread...

Re: further decline in global temperatures.

More heat records being set. icon_thumright http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/feeds/18636977 Just as i expected. In summer, the mid-latitude continental regions will get hotter and dryer, as water vapour declines. The Mid-latitude Maritime regions will get stormier, has convection increases. This is wha...

Re: Summers over the past 9 years has been getting wetter

So this is about global warming/change not getting wetter? Seems all a bit conspiracy theory again to me. No figures from yourself or links to who"s theory this is. The global temperatures have risen over the last few decades, global warming has/is occurring, as to why is anyones guess. The Globe h...

Re: Summers over the past 9 years has been getting wetter

Adrian, I don't agree with the theory, simple as that. Nothing to do with you but because the FACTS don't support this theory. We was told in the 90s that our summers would become hotter and dryer. The storm tracks would track further north over Iceland and accelerating over the coming decades. Fac...

Re: Summers over the past 9 years has been getting wetter

Well how come last summer was one of the driest ever? In fact the last 18 months prior to the hose pipe ban was the driest since records began in most regions. So kind of blows that bizarre theory out of the water (no pun intended) icon_thumright Its looks like your only in intention is to debunk w...

Summers over the past 9 years has been getting wetter

Summers over the past 9 year has been getting wetter in the mid-latitude maritime regions. This has to do with the increase in cosmic rays. Even though the solar cycle 24 is approaching its maximum, the solar wind and the magnetic field is still way below the 30 year average. Cosmic rays increase th...

Re: Weather Records 2012

It seems the world only does record breaking extremes now! As you say Stephen the world is running well above the average temperature mean this year. In fact if you look in the northern hemisphere, the cold pool is pretty much just over us at the moment....virtually straight from the arctic!...

Re: further decline in global temperatures.

It's easy to believe the climate is cooling when you live in the UK, but it would be hard to convince an American. Spring 2012 in the contiguous U.S. demolished the old records for hottest spring and most extreme season of any kind, said NOAA's National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) on Thursday. With...

Re: further decline in global temperatures.

How do we know that the official data has not been edited? Global warming is a big industry worth £trillions worldwide. This is in my view is what’s backing the data. If you are willing to accept the official data without question, you are only giving these corporate institutions more power over yo...

Re: further decline in global temperatures.

A warming earth will bring more rain, more storms, not less. That is another one of those GW myths and it makes less sense! Cooling leads to condensation and lowering greenhouse effect. Warming leads to more water vapour and less condensation, that enhances the greenhouse effect. Its the dew point ...

Re: further decline in global temperatures.

So your choosing not believe what we are being told. Lord monkton and yourself only need to look at the global temperature averages to see that global cooling is definitively not happening. How do we know that the official data has not been edited? Global warming is a big industry worth £trillions ...

Re: further decline in global temperatures.

Not at all, Stephen is spot on. As for pulling funding to try and prevent further global warming just because the massive warming trend had levelled off. How do we know this isn't the start of the effects of global warning. You can't dismiss something based on a couple of years data. Afterall, the ...

Re: further decline in global temperatures.

This is complete hokum.. we have recorded some of the warmest year on record in the past 10 years, so I can only think you're mistaking the rolling mean for the yearly mean. In other words the rolling mean may be showing a cooler period from a fair few years before the past 5 years. We have to be r...
