I stand them bare rooted in terracotta pots, its great for drying and keeping them dry.

Its all about novelty and trying things that are difficult, which in turn holds my interest. I enjoy growing from seed to seed and as much as I like my gardens to look nice am more interested in the individual plants.

Out of interest, how many generations does something need to be growing to be thought of as native? Doesn't work like that - it is based on the means of arrival (whether it got here by itself, or with human assistance), not the length of time it has been here. Frozen slush coated everything this morning with snow on local hills, local weather station had a low of 1c.

Global warming is forever being played up as bad, but I cant help but think its a good thing in the long run. On a local level if the sea level raised 6m it would mostly be the well of with coastal property that would suffer, the poorer inner citys could be easly moved up hill and in all likely hoo...

Global warming is forever being played up as bad, but I cant help but think its a good thing in the long run.
