Basjoo - This was only the second year i have been growing mine but the only protection i gave mine last winter was a mulch and they came back with no problem.

I have had one of these in my garden for years - looks lovely when its in flower.

I prune mine right down to the base every spring but still gets back up to about 6 foot by the end of the year.

This was mine last year.

I went last week for the first time,spent ages walking round,he has a lot of plants :lol: Defo go again, there were quite a few plants i would like to try and really good prices. I just came away with two cordylines £5 each, i would have had a lot more but he couldnt accept creadit cards that day a...

Yeah its one of the "nicer looking weeds" id rather have in my garden.

Must admit to occasionally popping the seeds heads as i walk by them as im walking my dogs :) I just cant help myself...... :lol:

Himalayan Balsam - Although i didnt plant this, this is now everywhere on my estate, the seeds get everywhere. They just self seed more and more each year. :lol:

Only been in this house 4 years so this is the oldest one i have, first pic taken June 2009, second pic taken today.

Nice to look back and compare, see how things actually grow :)
