chamaedorea radicalis
Please could somebody advise if the infloresences of my chamaedorea radicalis are male or female?
I have two of this palm and both appear to be of the same sex so I guess I will not be getting any seeds from them unless I have one of the opposite sex to cross poliinate
Many Thanks
Keith

Chamaedorea radicalis berrying.
... have only ever produced spikes of female flowers in the past, so berries would be impossible without a male pollinator. I've always believed radicalis to be dioecious (male and female flowers on separate plants), but it would appear that they can become monoecious as well. Normally I cut ...

Chamaedorea radicalis repotting.
Anyone tried repotting these? I have two in very narrow deep pots that are going to be a pig to get out. Will they stand a bit of root disturbance or shall I split the pots. I've had them too long to want to kill them.
