Hello,
I took a Fatsia Japonica cutting today. Wasn’t completely sure what I was doing. Does it look ok? Not sure if it’s too long a piece of stem. It measures about 26cm.
Regards,
BigAl

Shall I plant my fatsia japonica
Hi
I'm new to this forum and wondered if someone can help me?
I have bought some bargain fatsia japonicas and I wondered if I can plant them in the ground or should I wait til spring?
If I wait til spring, how should I look after them over winter? X

Fatsia japonica flowering late 2013 ?
My Fatsia japonica normally start to flower in October, but this year the buds are still not open. I'm thinking this is around 3 weeks later that usual. How are they for you? I'm trying to evaluate if the difference in timing ...

Fatsia Spiders Web
I picked up a Spiders Web at my local GC, not a very colourful specimen but it was the best of five. It has a small side shoot, should I leave it on or try and remove it. I haven't seen any for sale around here before so I don't know if £9 is a reasonable price or not. The plant excluding pot is abo...

Fatsia heroically saved
I seem to have a habit of losing Fatsias and it is usually the more expensive ones such as annelise. I think its due to damp roots but not entirely sure. The symptoms are that the leaves go all droopy and collapse. The leaves do not discolour or die but do eventually drop off. I move one yesterday a...

Bigger leaves now than my standard Fatsia japonica's, a lovely wax finish on the oldest leaves, fantastic leaf shape, and don't seem as prone to being eaten, thinking of getting some more what a beauty, just love it drunken_smilie1 drunken_smilie1 ...
