Yucca Rostrata Planting Advice
Hi there, I'd appreciate some advice for a novice to these particular plants... I've recently purchased two 6 foot Yucca Rostratas (one has a twin head). I'm thinking of potting them up for now rather than planting in the ground as winter is just round the corner. I'm based in Huddersfield ...

Yucca?
I picked these up yesterday, they had no labels in the pots, can anyone tell me what they are?
The 3rd and 4th photo shows lots of little suckers on the trunk.
Sorry for the picture quality, I've taken them on my mobile.
Thanks in advance.

Yucca filamentosa pups - what to do and when
Re-potted the nice filamentosa variegata that I bought a couple of weeks back, first time I've had chance to get a really good look at it. From what I have read, if you plant them out they can get pretty deeply rooted and get almost impossible to 'get rid of', even if you get the parent plant out. T...

After being inspired over the weekend to have another poke through B&Q reduced plant section, I popped in tonight and noticed the above plant reduced from a £10 to £4.98 (I'm sure I could haggle further with the predicted cold snap due!) Anyway, has anyone got any experience in growing this plant? I...

Planting Yucca Rostrata..What Soil Requirements?
Hi all,
In the spring I will attempt to plant my Yucca Rostrata in the garden taking it out of its pot. What is the best soil mixture when plating these. I'm aware it needs good drainage but what soil does it require?
