I've always wanted one but can never find one for sale :( anyone got any suggestions? Fantsipanensis and taiwaniana on eBay at the moment! Is fantsipanensis hardy here? £35 plus pp seems a tad steep for a cutting but it is rare. I bought my 4 hardy scheffies from dutchy and tuckermarshplant, latter...

Hi and welcome! Lurking is good and I did it for a while until I plucked up the courage to say hello! Whilst your garden is young I would try and dig in as much well rotted manure as you can before planting. The first year I planted here, growth was really impressive. Loads of quick growing annuals ...

When do you guys germinate your: Ricinus Amaranthus Nicotiana sylvestris Tithonia I got less than 1 metre for Ricinus, no more than 30cm for the rest. It is possible to get a good looking garden and some height quickly! I used loads of quick growing annuals when I first moved here!

These are some that I used icon_salut

Thanks for the video tip Kris, I'll try that. I dug my aeoniums up before any signs of cold weather but I think that I could have just covered them with a sheet of glass. I'll wait until I've built my stock of them up first before I leave any out though! I hope the weather stays good for you to get ...
