Re: Hi from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Hello and welcome so glad your wife is feeling better. Love the neighbours cat icon_thumright ( as it looks the same as my babe) and your cactus. Your potted palms look great too. I find gardening is a great way to unwind and chill out and it gives me self worth as I do not work. Gives my life some ...

Re: Trudytropics garden pictures!

[quote="RogerBacardy"]Your garden is like a piece of installation art, or an art gallery. A space you can slowly wander round and take in the beautiful artworks. In this case the artworks are the wonderful organic living sculptures otherwise known as plants. Just like any good gallery, your artworks...

Re: With nights drawing in, how are you coping ?

Hello
I garden during the day as I do not work, but hate the fact the nights are drawing in. So I cope by thinking about my next holiday and reserching it online. Pretending winter is not round the corner.

Your garden is my dream garden. Everything you have done I love. You should become a garden designer as you sure have the taste and talent for it. Unless you are already? lol. Will show your pics to my hubby when he gets home. I just cannot get over how nice it is and how much it is my taste. Everyt...

Re: is the west coast warmer than the east?

Hello
here in East Anglia the lowest temp we got was -8c. Some Cordylines died near me and some survived( in same town). Think the main cause of death was the length of time it was cold. My large green Cordy scraped by, losing one trunk but other trunk survived and lower shoots are flying now.
