Breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis)

Hi All , today I bought a breadfruit from my local , time ago I was reading from an italian forum of peoples who use it as an annual foliage plant , of course the temperature are not as hot as in Italy , but i would love to have a go.

anyone has ever tryed????? any tips

Just stopped down the chinese shop , I was looking for some lotus roots , but they didn`t look fresh .

got some fresh pepper (will not grow too hard)
galingale and galanga ginger

I have to admit that I live in a multicultural area , so get lots of different products from far east , try to find a chinese store and actually ask the seller , if I don`t find anything I`m looking for I usually ask and the guy usually bring them in for me . overall I still fail , never managed to ...

I really would like to grow Aloe polyphya look lovely how fast growing are they from seed? I'm sure I could find some we're to winter them over lol Regards Steve ;-) Got one from Trewidden Nursery , for £8 including PP , then I was asking my aunty for a simple aloe and she send me those a polyphyll...

as in the giant sized leaf ones?? where did you get them from I realy want a giant Alocasia. Seen worst over there , entire forest have been poisoned just to kill non native tree that where taking over plus many forests have been sold for the use of woods , seen tons of tree fern just cutted down and let them die under the buldozer. Those are my favorite , they look like a mini version of the tree fern , seen few at 4 feet high , but love the multi head .

in case you run out,just go to the nearest forest and cut few more ....they reach easely 7 meters

Just back from New Zealand and while I was there I`ve noticed the way they are building them fences can you actually belive? while we are protecting them and pay as much as £2/1 per cm they are building fences over there :lol: Not the best fences overall , they start to growing back . http://i1113.p...

I don`t like the bushy form of euphorbia , but they had 3 diffeent variety and did notice that they can reach 2 mt in high , but i think that frost will knock them to the ground , that`s why the bushy effect of all the euphorbia.
