Re: Moving a dwarf peach tree

My potted dwarf peach and nectarine get put in one of my greenhouses when the cold weather starts to come and they are then put back outside around the start of May and they are never affected with peach leaf curl. My full size planted out peach trees always show it but this year I have a resistent ...

All looking very good Rod, does your garden see the same temps as the botanical garden ? The brahea and jubaea are my favourites.

Re: Rhopalostylis Oceana (Chatham Islands)

A palm I would like to add to my collection but it would have to stay potted, both of yours look to be doing well. Dave has yours always been potted or have you had it planted out ?

Re: Canna seedlings seem to have stalled?

Seed grown canna are still quick growing but a canna growing from a tuber has energy stored in the tuber so when initially sending out growth they can get to a full size plant a lot quicker as they have a stored energy reserve. Seed grown plants soon catch up though so I would not worry.
