I think he is after C gigantea..that is the one I was reffering to anyways with the pucker marks on the backs of the leaves

There not really very common over here but a few places have them..I have a nice one potted in storage not sure how it will fair but its claimed to be winter hardy here in zone 6. not seen them referenced much on the board so I would say there not to common

Im sure you can youtube what happened when it snowed in Atlanta this year. The city does not even own snow removal equipment. tried several cuttings this year only the yellow brug took. the parent yellow and variegated are growing away nicely right now ready for spring

try a dwarf type next time getting only around 9 ft max then you won't have to bin it when it gets to big

would it ruin the effect if I had to bbq in snow boots and a hat? I used the inside grill to do a ny strip steak a few days ago but outside bbq is out of the question. bet you would like to have a bit of this deer meat for that grill wouldn't you arlon lol

you should all be thankful they even stock garden stuff this time of year. over here we wont see a seed packet or a bag of compost for 2 more months. they empty the garden section and use it for holiday season till spring rolls around

worst winter since I have been alive Good to get that out of the way before moving into you new home and establishing a great garden. Im not sure if I would expect pups but it is doing well for you. seems over here they pup more around the 8ft mark but with the mild summers there it could shock it into pups.
