I was chatting to Mark Hall at the Akamba meet, we imported about 20 different brugs from the states last year, neither of us have many left. I kept some in a frost free shed and yes it was frost free. It went down to 2c but no lower, the only 2 i have left were overwintered in a cold loft bedroom. ...

Nick the two are different plants, Bamboo is monocarpic, it flowers, sets seed then dies, cordylines are not and they will not die once flowered :D Cordyline australis will not fork until iot flowers so if yours is multi headed it must have flowered before??? They are worth letting flower for the wo...

there are one or two to move nick :D , but you are right we will need a bigger truck to move the plants than the furniture.... not bad considering we have a 5 bedroom house :D
