Things haven't grown so much this year so far so there was little that needed protecting (unlike 2 years ago!)

Another thing is that whilst they would restrict the amount of rainfall falling into them during the winter they would also take a lot longer to water during the summer for the same reason.

Bit of a butter to get the palm out without destroying the pot though when it is time to pot them on!

The cheapest courier I have found is Hermes and they would charge £4.20 for delivering a parcel up to 2kg.

Have you had a really good look at your local garden centres and nurseries? 3 out of 4 of my locals sell this plant.
