Re: Poorly plants

And one more thing if that is a Cynthia and if was allowed to dry out odds on it's dead now ! If that's a bucket it's in with no drainage holes you'll do more harm than good, regardless of species But on a good note it does look to have a rootball, so maybe cut the old stipes down shorter to open ou...

Re: Anyone with a kiwi that had has produced fruit?

Got a Kiwi growing (smothering) the boundary fence at the Fishing club just round the corner from me, that reliably sets fruit every year, it is growing on a south facing aspect but it has been there 20 + years and I suspect it is in fact two plants male and female. Shame of it is no one bothers to ...

Re: Aeonium arboreum 'Schwarzkopf

I blagged one from a friend's garden as they were having a clearout. I like the multi-stemmed effect - perhaps because it got clobbered by their mower a few times, maybe by frost (it was in the channel islands, so not bought in for the winter) [ Image ] mines been just a single stem for 2 years, i ...

Re: Red Spider Mite and Mealy Bug OUTSIDE !!!

But I will say some of my Alocasias are suffering this year but they are a bit easier to treat One thing I tried through the Winter on my Alos a...

Re: Musa Sikkimensis, not very hardy but certainly resilient

I've been abusing or should that be trailing some Red Tiger's in pots with no protection here and at my Dads plaice in Gosport for the past couple of Winters and apart from having to chop back the top couple of inches in the spring they seem to be coping ok, just waiting for some Basjoo's to finish ...
