I have two seeds which have germinated, what would be the best potting mix to use and size of pot? They will be staying in pots long term.

Is my cycas r centre looking normal?

I got this cycas in Nov 2009. It had gone through two winters without damage but still no flush. The centre looks like it's ready to do something. Can these flower in the UK? The reason I ask is that the centre looks a bit different from others I've seen.
