adrians correct. I did try one last winter. Its hard to tell how effective it was since it was an exceptional winter. I did find that the wind here was a killer. It eventually bend the frame even though I buiold a wooden reinforced frame inside to beef it up a lot. To be able to use the cheap ones y...

adrians point is that the yellow orleander isn't actually an orleander Nick. The real ones are called Nerium

thanks Sam. I've had one for a couple of years with six feet long fronds thats now starting to grow. This new one is much bigger with twelve feet fronds so its good to know larger ones dont take longer to establish
