not long,i guess around 4 yearsthey will easily do 2ft a year as mine did this year but given a good spring you could double that.
got a little gem this year,p.trifoliata.
will try and find a reference link tonight

i had 3 all over 12ft died at -10 that winter a few years back.2 newer ones have been fine since with lows of about -6 icon_thumright

Derrick,give Nigel a ring or pm on here,go see what hes got and take the biggest car you can lay your hands on as hes so good to deal with,you will probably get one twice as big as expected for same money.i think he stocks georges waggies from palmhouse too,or did at one point so take plenty of spon...

first time i did it,took 5 hours to get it up and both hands covered in blisters.

thankfully now ive mastered using the makita,makes all the screwing in much easier :wink: :wink:

gently tie a cocktail stick to the stem and poke it in further icon_thumright
once roots spread,it ought to cling on its own and keep the soil in with it,pack a bit of gravel in with that after,might help keep it in if it rains
