Gaz - when you say 'i suspect the old members would have to find it rather than automatically become a new member'? Obviously they'd have to register and wouldn't automatically become a member, but we could always collect e-mail addressess off UKO before it shuts down, and e-mail everyone to let the...

Lol....it's a similar situation with my dad. I don't both with ensete's and musa's with him - I just call them bananas, gingers are gingers....I give up - he's useless with plant names so I just use ones for the wider family so he has less to remember!

I sure hope you corrected them.

Hi Dave, I think the idea is great - there's no doubt about it. However, having 2 deparate forums might cause confusion. What could be done is, you know on UKO they had 'different' sub-forums as they were? (Plant/Seed Exchange, Technical Difficulties, Discussion Forum etc.), perhaps 2 or 3 different...

Yeah I agree with you Darran....I really can't believe it's going. I still have a tiny bit of hope in me that we can sway Paul, but I don't think it's likely. A sad night for the British tropical enthusiasts.
